Hurt Sesko to Sit Out Slovenian National Team Matches but United Optimistic of Quick Comeback
Striker Sesko will miss out on Slovenia's upcoming fixtures versus Kosovo and Sweden because of a knee problem sustained during the latest match at Tottenham. However, Manchester United is optimistic that he could be back in time to face Everton following the international break.
Injury Details and Recovery Period
The attacker was substituted in the 87th minute of the Saturday 2-2 draw with Tottenham having been brought on on 58 minutes replacing Noussair Mazraoui. Manager Ruben Amorim expressed concern after the game, resulting in the player's withdrawal from the Slovenia squad.
Manchester United will carry out additional examinations at their Carrington facility this week, but early indications point to a possible return in time for the Everton match on November 24th.
Additional Team Updates
Maguire and Casemiro likewise had to leave the pitch during the Spurs match. Although the defender's status remains unclear, it is understood that Casemiro is fit and has joined national team commitments with Brazil.
Lisandro Martínez, who has not played after a knee injury back in February, will join Argentina at their training base in Europe. However, the center-back will not feature in Friday's friendly versus Angola in Luanda. A staff member of the club's performance team will support Martínez, who has lately returned to training with Amorim's squad.
